About KC certification
· KC Mark is Korea's integrated certification mark. So when distributing products to Korea, KC mark is needed to obtain legal power.
· It is a certification mark integrating the 5 original center, 13 Legally compulsory certification mark
· When certification mark is needed for newly adopted Statutory duty certification, we should put KC mark on it.


Propulsion progress
 * Introduced by Ministry of Knowledge Economy from July,1,2009
 * From January,1,2011 they extended to 8 governments departments. (Ministry of Environment, KCC, ect).

Summary of KC hygiene safety standards of Water supplies
It is a forced certification according to Water Supply and Waterworks Installation Act to manage materials in contact with drinking water and water service safety standards of hygiene products. Drinking water is served through water suppling materials so to prevent second contamination we are forced to get certification for the supplying materials. They set the contamination limit and checks the products if it is contaminated.
